This as well as the west side of this campground has always been a great morning walking area for my dog and me, which we still do with caution to prevent my dog from returning to our motorhome with free-loading-riding ants. This year, I have noticed due to dry ground issues like most desert areas. There is an uncontrolled ant issue occurring on this campground. However, because I love the peace, quietness, sunset, sunrise, open spaces, and awesome mountain views this campground offers. As well as full-hookup service for $400.00 a month; rather than the usual monthly cost of $700.00, $750.00, $800.00, $900.00, or even $778.95 for nine-days. My five-month stay here provides annual opportunities for me to pay off all of my credit cards before returning home to Sioux Falls. This is a secret I never share.
